CONFERENCE SPONSOR - MESDA
The 15th Annual Maine Technology Conference is a program of MESDA. Founded in 1992, MESDA is the statewide trade association for Maine's software and information technology industry. MESDA enhances the software, Internet and information technology industry through programs designed to increase awareness of the industry, develop community, industry perception and workforce development. Since its inception, MESDA has been an advocate and a resource base for Maine's software and IT industry. As an advocate, MESDA has succeeded in passing legislation to assist our industry. As a resource, MESDA supplies information, educational programs and services for our members. MESDA is dedicated to growing our industry by creating a constructive and stimulating environment.
UX TRACK ORGANIZERS
The UX track was coordinated and organized by volunteers—people in Maine's UX community. This informal group of UX professionals meets the last Tuesday of every month for professional development and educational programs (at MESDA headquarters), as well as publicizes and organizes other Maine UX events. The group currently tends to hover around Portland, but we think that's not such a great idea, given how many talented people do UX work scattered throughout this great state of Maine...and how much we all probably would like to know each other. A Maine UX listserv will also be getting started. And to publicize your events or help connect the Maine UX dots, be in touch!
